Yesterday we "did" Darwin. It was hellishly hot and raining. I declined the chance to revisit our northern tropical jewel and stayed on board.
We left last evening. The way they maneouvre this ship without the aid of tugs is fascinating.
We are now sailing through a smooth, glassy see eastward beneath Timor and headed for Bali (Benoa) on Sunday.
The passengers seem to have sorted out the pecking order and are enjoying themselves. More later

Good stuff mate, makes me realize what I see every day. It is good to have a reminder of what my life is really like. I have a mate in Lankawi who owns a yacht and an apartment. The cheapest booze I have ever had the pleasure of downing. Oddly enough, Darwin is the only major city on the coast that I have never been to.
ReplyDeleteGot back from France two weeks ago from attending my son's wedding in Marseilles. Looking forward to future postings mate.
